History
Patent
Art, a limited liability corporation, is one of the largest
and most established patent illustration firms in the
country. Founded in 1981, we are highly respected in the
field of intellectual property for our vast knowledge,
exemplary service, painstaking accuracy and unfaltering
professionalism.
Since
the inception of Patent Art, intellectual property has
been the sole focus of our practice. We produce the highest
quality illustrations for trademarks, design and utility
applications for filing with the United States Patent
and Trademark Office as well as formal drawings for foreign
filing. We also offer full photographic support and illustrations
for litigation.
Patent
Art was one of the first patent illustration firms in
the country to use computer aided drafting (CAD) software.
During the conversion from pen and ink drawings to CAD-generated
drawings, special efforts were made to ensure that our
illustrations maintained the look and appeal of the highest
quality pen and ink illustrations.
We
continue to use the latest technologies available, including
customized software that allows us to track and archive
the numerous drawings that pass through our office each
month.
Over
the years, our client list has grown from one of primarily
Dallas addresses to one that spans the country, entirely
as a result of client referrals and the retention of clients
who relocate outside the Dallas area. It is this growth
that makes us particularly proud, as it speaks volumes
about our clients satisfaction with our services.
